Jerry Gene Hinebaugh
Flag Jerry Gene Hinebaugh, 63, of Richwood, died Thursday evening, July 7, 2005, at his residence.
Mr. Hinebaugh was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. He worked at Midwest Express for more than 13 years.
He was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling and playing the lottery.
He never had a cross word for anyone and will be missed by many, especially his "my girls" at work.
He was bom Sept. 2, 1941, in Franklin County, to Clifford and Helen O'Neal Hinebaugh. He was preceded in death by his father. His mother survives in Port Charlotte, Fla.
He also is survived by his wife, Carole A. Smith Hinebaugh. whom he married Dec. 20, 1963, in Columbus; his children, Tina (Scott) Hamilton of Richwood, Shelie (Dick) Hammond of Kentucky, Storie (Dean) Bressler of Marysville, and Michael Todd Hinebaugh of Bellefontaine; a sister, Carol Sue (Vaughn) DeStefanis of Port Charlotte, Fla.; his mother-in-law, Virginia Smith of Buckeye Lake; and his grandchildren, Jessica, JT. and Julia Hamilton, Justin Blue, Chelsea Hinebaugh, Alex and Brittany Hammond, Brittany Lynn, Nikita Hamilton and Leah Bressler.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Richwood First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Bentley officiating. There also will be veteran services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1105 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, Ohio 43302.
Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, is in charge of arrangements.
