Phyllis and family, I was so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I had just tried to call your parents home on Sunday trying to find you just to reconnect, but did not know until today of her passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this. If you need anything, please let me know. Talk to you soon Phyllis.

Our shirt-tale family connections are through Joyce's sister, Bertie Evans my aunt. I am sorry for Joyce's loss, but with her faith in the Lord, Heaven is a better home than the health problems she has faced in more recent years. May the Lord bless you.

Cathy and family,
It doesn't matter how old we are...when we loose a parent we feel like we are 10 again and just want to hold our mom's hand to feel secure or hear her voice. But we are left with memories and sorrow now that will ease. I've been there and hope you can find moments of peace from her friends and family as you realize how many lives we touch in our lifetime...and maybe even a fond smile or two.

Dear Louis and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I always enjoyed talking to Louis and Joyce at the Dr. office and most recently they would look me up at the hospital. Joyce was always very proud of her children and grandchildren, keeping updated on all their accomplishments. She will be greatly missed. Rely on your memories, the love of your family and friends and strength of the Lord to give you comfort. Marcie Patton

I was sorry to hear about the loss of your wife/mother. I have lots of good memories of Joyce back when she was the choir director at Central Methodist Church. Greta & I probably tried her patience, but we still had alot of fun and learned alot from her. She will be missed.
My thoughts & prayers go out to the whole family.

I always enjoyed coming to the Erwin household. Joyce was such a wonderful, warm and caring friend and mother. I was so sorry to see that she had passed away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Louis and the girls. Joyce will be greatly missed by one and all.

I worked in Product Review at Fulfillment Corporation with Joyce for many years. She was fun to work with and many times brought in her current sewing projects to show us. I remember how excited she wss when she first got a serger - - - she loved it. Joyce always spoke so lovingly of her family. I am so glad I knew Joyce.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for FCA as long as Joyce and knew her verywell. She was always a very positive person and cared for all of you very much. She got a lot of enjoyment with her sewing and other homemaking endevors.
I am sorry that I didn't get to come in person but due to my inability to get around much I moved closer to my daughter and I don't get the paper for several days after it is printed.
When I knew Joyce she didn't have any greatgrandchildren yet but she really loved her husband and children and grandchildren and talked about all of you with great love and was quite interested in the grandchildrens activities.
She will leave a hole in your heart and lives and those of us who worked with her.
Jo Thomas
