I sure enjoyed seeing Willie the 2 1/2 years I knew him. He always had a smile and a wink for everyone. He was determined to live his life the way he always had before his diagnosis. My sympathies to his family and friends.

My heart is sad to see Willie go, but I am reassured Opal was waiting with open arms. From the moment I met the two of them, I fell in love with them. Willie was a great sunshine in the morning after work. Opal had a sharp memory even 20 years after I had the pleasure of taking care of her. She reminded me in 2005 how my son used to sing and dance to Achy-Breaky Heart. Memorial lost a great friend and companion. Willie you are already missed so much. God speed to you and keep watching over all of us. To the family, my condolences to you all. We all lost a great friend.

I remember Willie from many years ago, back in the early 1970's when I was dating one of his nieces. He was always a happy go lucky person as I remember, and always had good thoughts of him. Sorry for your loss Etta and family, he was a good man.

So sorry Etta Mae for your loss. Willie was always friendly never seemed to know a stranger. Tis true he liked the ladies but always faithful to his wife . I can remember talking to him about her and how she progressively got worse. I hope Willie is home with the Lord and enjoying happy peaceful days.
