I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to talk to Uncle TL on his 91st birthday. He sounded great. Unkie helped my mom and his sister, Marie, so much over the years that we're forever grateful. Those summer vacations at 999 Clark Rd in LaRue were some of my fondest memories growing up.
Also more recently spending some fun times in Florida during the winter will forever be cherished.
We love you!

Willene,Steve,Cathy and Family,
We have so many fond memories of Tom and fun times in LaRue when life was much simpler. Tom was a man of strong faith & we always appreciated his Bible knowledge in Sunday school at LaRue U.M.C. We have many fun memories of Tom and his great sense of humor as we gathered for church retreats and with friends. Any time we ran into Tom he greeted us with a smile and genuine interest in our family and LaRue friends. While he will be greatly missed by his family and friends here on earth, we are confident that he will be welcomed into the gates heaven by Our Savior and meet many loved ones who have reached Home before.

Dear Willene, Steve, Cathy, and family
We send our condolences to all of you as you cope with the loss of your loved one. I have so many nice memories of the times we spent together in our Sunday school class and in services at the LaRue United Methodist Church. Great stories, scripture interpretations, and prayers were shared together in God's house. I am sure that the church you are currently attending is blessed by your presence and now memories of Tom. Please know that we keep you in our thoughts and prayers, knowing that you are comforted by realizing that Tom is in Jesus' presence and loving his conversations there! God bless you all!
With caring thoughts,
Bill and Betty McElroy

Not sure what proper protocol on this site is, but the Parker family would like to thank everyone who attended this service either in person or on the live (or delayed) broadcast.
We would like to thank Kyle and the entire Stofcheck team who helped organize this service. Additionally a shout out to the Marion Area United Veterans Council for the much appreciated military tribute. A special thanks to Pastor Perry Payne of the Marion Christian Center who officiated over the service.
We would also like to thank all the medical and hospital staff(s) who assisted in the care of Tom over these last several months. Lastly we would like to thank everyone who raised Tom's name up in prayer.
Thank you all. May God bless you.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Parker was always a gentle man who loved his family and the Lord. It is a bit easier to let our loved ones go when we know where their faith takes them for eternity.
