Deepest sympathies to the Lehman family. John and I always enjoyed seeing Dick when we had lunch at Diane and Dan’s home. It was always interesting when my late mother Ruby and Dick would reminisce about people, places and events as well as challenging as they were both hard of hearing! Dick was one of the nicest guys and also very strong in his health challenges. His family was devoted to him and that must have been a great source of comfort and pride to Dick and I hope to his family as well during this difficult time.

Living in California, we don't have the personal memories of Dick that so many of you had, but we do remember hearing that he was quite the chef! He was always happy to do his share and make something for family get-togethers. He was such a humble, quiet guy, you'd never know all of the talents that were lying there, just under the surface. I think the reason he had such a happy life all of these years, is because his kids really stepped up - visited him, had him over, and generally made him feel wanted and loved. The ultimate gift in one's senior years! So, we're sending a big hug and a heartfelt thank you to his loving family!

Uncle Dick was a sweet soul. Always a smile and good word. I have many memories of him on their farm. I remember watching him in the dairy barn working with his boys. Quite a deal for a city girl. And pony rides. Prayers for his family.
