Marsha Kay HarmonBird HummingbirdMarsha Kay Harmon, 73 of LaRue, died unexpectedly April 29, 2024 at her home.

She was born February 1, 1951 in Marion to the late Burton C. Harmon and Armilda M. (Baker).

Surviving is her beautiful daughter, Jessica Harmon of Cardington. Marsha was an amazing grandmother to her one granddaughter, Viktoria Harmon.

With numerous nieces and nephews, she had a wonderful family. Her niece, Amanda Goodwin was there for her and they cared for each other. She is also survived by two sisters, Marvina Shark and Marlene Stidham, both of North Carolina and one sister-in-law, Sue Harmon of Byhalia.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Harmon, mother and stepfather Armilda and Clay Tilton, her father, Burton Harmon and her brother Burton Leroy Harmon.

She was a wonderful woman, with a lot of love and light in her heart. She served proudly as a CO at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville. She loved watching the hummingbirds, taking care of her flowers and animals.

Due to her wishes, there will be no services.

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.

To Marsha k's family. I send my love and my condolences. We were raised just down the road from each other. I was on the Boundary Rd. and she was on the Winamac Pike. I used to walk to her house and play. Wow! How time flies. She was a great childhood friend She will be missed.
