I have such fond memories of Sally from when my Dad was pastor of the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church in the late 50's. I babysat for Jeanne and Rita many times, and have fond memories of spending time at Bill and Sally's. I remember their involvement in Church and Sunday School, and Ice Cream Socials! God be with you all as you feel her loss in these coming days, and know that she touched lives with her warmth and laughter, and will be missed by many.

Jean, Rita and Annie, our heartfelt sympathies to you and your families as you go thru the days ahead. It was our good fortune to live next door to your family from when your Mom and Dad moved into their house on 347 until we moved to Delaware in 1961.  Oh, the Euchre games they shared! People enter your life and their constant presence leaves a permanent spot in your heart....and your parents did just that.  Lake Erie at Grandpa Gwynne's cabin, vacations in Wisconsin, and so many evenings in Magnetic and Delaware....the talk and laughter remain.  Your mom always called us by our first and last names...her trademark!  As the years passed, your parents' presence in our lives transformed into a joy that my children found whenever they visited Gram and Grandpa, Willie and Phyllis Ferrell. I even have most wonderful memory of your mom dancing with my granddaughter in 2010.....she danced with that 2 year old in her living room and imprinted her joy on her.  You three girls are ever in my heart. We have shared so many important life events with you and that steadfast love is shared again with you now, at Sally's passing. Jimmy, Roman, Feliz and I all share her smile and twinkling eyes as we remember the special moments Sally gave us. We are poorer at her loss, but richer for having had her in our lives.  As always, you remain in our hearts.

To Sally's family.  At Sally's funeral, when so many stories were being shared, I was thinking of my Tom and all the time he spent with Sally & Bill on the farm.   Afterward, I said...you must have a million stories.  He simply answered he did and each one was embedded in his memory.  Sally was indeed a special woman and she will be so missed.   God bless her and all those who loved her.

Aunt Sally was fun and caring and I am blessed with fond memories. Her servant heart was evidenced as she volunteered in so many capacities at church, school, ballgames, 4-H, etc. She often times was working behind the scenes to help and did not want attention drawn to herself. Her smiles, encouragement, and humbleness were great attributes. The cards sent to me always "hit the spot" and her spunky sayings would make me laugh. She will definitely be missed...
