Bill Jones
MARION — Bill Jones, age 61, of Marion, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at 9:20 a.m. at Marion General Hospital.
He was born May 2, 1945, in Wayne, Mich., to Roy Kenneth and Mable (Hutchinson) Jones. His mother is deceased and his father lives in New Bloomington. He married Loretta L. Button and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John K. (Kristena) Jones of Jacksonville, Fla., Thomas A. Jones and Justin A. Dutton, both of Marion. One daughter, Kimberly R. (Wayne) Haines of Marion. Grandchildren are Kaitlyn Jones, Samuel Haines, Joshua Haines, Tyler Jones and Lauren Jones. Two sisters, Marlene (Harold) Straw and Judy Jones, both of New Bloomington. One sister, Hilda Jones is deceased.
Mr. Jones was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Whirlpool Corp.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at 2. p.m. at the Agosta Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Mark Allis. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are in charge of the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue.
