Bill David Sheppard
MARION — Bill David Sheppard, age 67, of Marion, died at 6:07 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Marion General Hospital.
He was born April 7,1939, in Green Camp, to the late Smith and Garnett (Gray) Sheppard.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew S. Sheppard of Marion and Mark R. (Amy) Sheppard of Waldo; one daughter, Beth Y. Sheppard of Eden Prairie, Minn.; one grandchild, Bailey Sheppard; one brother, Melvin (Ann) Sheppard of Alaska; two sisters, Mary Ann Allen of Marion and Patricia (Robert) Williams of Morral. One brother, Paul Sheppard; and one sister, Marjorie Crouse, are deceased.
Mr. Sheppard was a millwright at Tecumseh Products for 21 years, also worked in construction for Lockheed Martin. He served in the U.S Army and loved gardening and fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Gerald Frazee. Burial in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in LaRue.
