Marguerite Angeline Roszman


MARION — Marguerite Angeline Roszman, age 98, who made her home with her brother Dwight and his family, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at 4:08 a.m. at Sun-Bridge Care and Rehabilitation of Marion.
She was born April 10, 1908, in Grand Township, Marion County, to the late John Henry and Oza Ethel (Hickman) Roszman.
She is survived by two brothers; Dr. Marvin (Gale) Roszmann of Pawley's Island, SC., and Dwight Roszman of Morral; two sisters, Fern Prettyman of Morral and Nova Mae Wynkoop of Canal Winchester; one sister-in-law. Thelma Roszman of Lancaster; special nieces Susan Meuser of Gahanna, Molly Rondeau of Indianapolis, Joann Roszman of Morral and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Roszman, Paul Roszman, Foster
Roszman, and one sister, Evelyn Hudnall.
She was a homemaker and farmer, member of the Meeker United Methodist Church, the Ruth Artz Circle at the church, taught Sunday school and had been Sunday school superintendent and was district representative to Lakeside. Member of the Ridgedale Music Boosters, she was a 4-H advisor, and worked on the Board of Elections for Grand Township. She loved gardening both vegetables and flowers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Meeker United Methodist Church. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Burial in the Frame Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. of Tuesday.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the Meeker United Methodist Church or the Quality of Life Hospice.
