Patricia Ann Welsh

Patricia Ann Welsh, 76, of Richwood, died Wednesday afternoon, March 28,
2007, at Heartland of Marysville.
She was a graduate of the Ohio State University with a dental hygienist
degree. She also graduated from Tri-Rivers School of Nursing and was an LPN.
She worked for several dentists, including Dr. Spath in Toledo, and Dr.
Hull in Richwood. As an LPN she worked for several nursing homes in the
area, Memorial Hospital and for Dr. Coleman in Richwood.
She was a member of Richwood First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed
painting and crocheting and "helping out" on the farm.
She was born March 4, 1931, in Kenton, to the late George and Dorothy
Oates Battles. She also was predeceased by an infant sister.
On May 24, 1969, at Richwood First United Methodist Church, she married
G. Robert Welsh and he survives. Also surviving are stepchildren, Terry
(Sharon) Welsh of Essex, and Lou Ann (Scott) Davis of Richwood;
grandchildren, Lori Beth (Mic) Wallace, Elaina (Terry) Baker, Charlie
Welsh, Alicia (Logan) Rife and Kea (Nathan) Burns; great-grandchildren,
Ayeka, Seth, McKenzie, Autumn and Kailee; a sister, Darlene Shortsleeve
of Tacoma, Wash.; nephews, Tim and Tom Shortsleeve; and
a great-nephew, Will Shortsleeve.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Stofcheck Funeral Home
in Richwood, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m., with
Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating. Burial will be at Claibourne Cemetery.
