Dorothy Margaret Hackworth

MARION — Dorothy Margaret Hackworth, age 75, of Marion, died at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Marion Manor.
She was born Dec. 4,1931, in Marion, to the late John C. and Edith L. (Porter) Smith.
In 1957 she married Homer C. Hackworth and he died, in 1990.
She is survived by one sister, Nita (Chuck) Dilsaver of Marion; three nephews; two nieces; five great-nieces; two great-nephews; and cousins. Sister-in-law Betty Hack-worth of Marion; and one brother, Robert Smith, is deceased.
Mrs. Hackworth was a homemaker, member of the Marion First Church of the Nazarene. Loved being in the choir, attending the Ladies Prayer Group and Sunday school.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, at the Marion First Church of the Nazarene. Ministers will be Pastor Riley Powell and Pastor Mark Aills. Burial in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call from 24 and 6-8 p.m. today, Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the Marion First Church of the Nazarene, 233 W. Church St.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the Church Choir Fund, Compassionate Ministries or the Humane Society.
Pall Bearers will be Dave Dilsaver, Justin Dilsaver, Vic Smith, Kevin Smith, Kenny Stanley and Dan Kirkpatrick.
