Amanda Nicole Corbin

LARUE —- Amanda Nicole Corbin, age 26, of 1891 Rich-wood-LaRue Road, LaRue, died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at approximately 4 p.m. at her residence.
She was born July 22,1979, in Lancaster, to Robert Lee and Diana (Simpkins) Simmermon and they survive in LaRue.
On Oct. 7, 2000, she married Brian Michael Corbin and he survives.
Also surviving are her paternal grandparents, William and Freda Simmermon of LaRue and maternal grandmother,
Gertrude Simpkins of LaRue; and one sister, Megan Simmermon of LaRue. Also surviving are her husband's parents, John and Lynn Corbin of LaRue and his sister, Julie Tack, and extra special niece, Ava Tack of LaRue. Her maternal grandfather, Melvin Simpkins, is deceased.
Amanda worked at the Marion Area Health Center in scheduling and admitting. She attended the LaRue United Methodist Church and graduated from Elgin High School.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the LaRue United Methodist Church. Ministers will be the Rev. Edward J. Fu-gate and the Rev. James Meredith. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Those who wish may make contributions to the youth program at the LaRue United Methodist Church.
