Elizabeth Ruth Risser

MEEKER — Elizabeth Ruth Risser, age 96, of 6540 Mason Rd. Meeker, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at 12:18 a.m. at her residence.
She was born Jan. 9, 1910, in Uniopolis, Ohio, to the late David and Hulda (West) Bechdolt.
On Sept. 15,1934, she married Harry M. Risser and he died Feb. 24,1999.
She was a homemaker, attended the Meeker United Methodist Church and a member of the Eureka Ladies Society of Forest.
She is survived by one son, David M. Risser, of Meeker, seven daughters, Joanna Harris of Bluffton, Eleanor (Jere) Winegardner of Cridersville, Louise Swavel of Mount Vernon, Texas, Florence Collins of Upper Sandusky, Donna (Clyde) Swavel of Morral, Rebecca (Ron) Black of Kenton, and Judith (Lynn) Elsass-er of Ridgeway; 34 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Finn of Spencerville.
One daughter Lois, one son John E. Finn, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22,2006, at 11 a.m. at the Meeker United Methodist Church Minister will be the Rev. Donald J. Riker. Burial in the Frame Cemetery in Meeker. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue from 24 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday.
