Helen Phipps

Helen Phipps, 86, of Richwood, died peacefully early Tuesday morning, June 6, 2006, at Heartland of Marysville.
She worked for many years at restaurants around Marysville, but retired from O.D.O.T. in 1984.
She was born Aug. 1, 1919, in the Youngstown area. On Aug. 1, 1942, she married Albert Phipps and he died in November 1994.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Angela) Phipps of Mt. Victory (formerly of the Richwood area); granddaughters, Lisa (John) McGuire of Grove City, and Stephanie Massie of Marysville; great-grandchildren, Robbie Barclay of Grove City, and Raven Wendling of Marysville; her dear sister-in-law, Helen Phipps of York Center; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Burial will take place at a later date in York Cemetery.
