Howard Hugh Dean

MARION — Howard Hugh Dean, age 57 of LaRue, died Friday, July 14,2006, at 9:15 p.m. at Heartland of Marion.
He was bom April 28,1949, in Marion, Ohio. His parents are Richard (Marcia) Dean of Kenton and Mary K. (Dale) Hughes of LaRue.
On Feb. 17, 1969, he married Candace Creviston, they later divorced.
Mr. Dean worked in maintenance at Quaker Oats, was Franchise/Owner of the Radio Shack in Marion, and worked, in casinos in Las Vegas. He also worked in construction and helped on the family farm. He was a member of the LaRue United Methodist Church and was a member of the Rough Riders 4-H club for 10 years. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1967.
He is also survived by two sons, Daniel Lee and Christopher Linn; two brothers, Douglas Richard (Beckie) Dean of Rich-wood, and Dale Alan Dean of San Francisco, Calif.; and two sisters, Dixie K. (Bill) Akers of LaRue and Vicki Ann (Gene) Elkins of Kenton.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday July 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Burial will be in the LaRue Cemetery. The Pall Bearers will be Douglas Richard Dean, Micah Lloyd Dean, Curtis Wayne Akers, Jason Akers, Gene Elkins, and Travis Elkins. Friends may call at the Funeral Home in LaRue from 24 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 17,2006.
