Dorothy  Hartense Burbaugh

LARUE — Dorothy  Hartense Burbaugh, age 94, of LaRue, died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at Marion Manor.
She was bom Nov. 5,1911, in Ewington, to the late Clarence E. and Monnie I. (Freshcorn) Swick,
On Nov. 7, 1932, she married H. Merwyn Burbaugh and he died May 23,1997.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Daniel) Schroll of LaRue; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven great-greatgrandchildren; and daughter-in-law Shirley Ann Burbaugh of Morral. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert LeRoy Burbaugh; one sister, Elizabeth Kelly; and two brothers, Kerr and Harold Swick.
Mrs. Burbaugh was a homemaker, had worked at Fulfillment Corp. and was a nurses aid at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Marion Senior Center and a former member of the Tymochtee Grange and the AARP.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Fridav Aug. 18, 2006, at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Mary Curtis. Burial in the LaRue Ceme-tery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in LaRue.
Those who wish, may make contribution to the Quality of Life Hospice in Marion.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Burbaugh, Douglas Burbaugh, John Burbaugh, Paul Stephans, Jay Bowies and Bill Preston.
