Jack B. Miller


Jack B. Miller, 75, of Richwood, died early Friday morning, Sept. 9, 2005, at Marion General Hospital.
He was one of six who graduated in 1948 from Byhalia High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in York Center. A retired farmer, he also was retired from the Scotts Company after more than 30 years of employment.
Mr. Miller enjoyed time with his devoted family. He was a ham radio operator and a former World Champion horseshoe pitcher.
He was bom April 19, 1930, at the family farm in Union County to he late Bernard and Anna Foos Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Marsena Blackburn Miller, whom he married March 28,1953; and their children and their families, Michael. A. (Debbie) Miller of Richwood and their daughter, Sara Miller; Tim (Mary) Miller of Dublin and their three children, Heather (Scott) Reed and their son, Mason, Brian Gray and Wendy Miller; Steve (Irene) Miller of Columbus; David (Lori) Miller of Ostrander and their three children, Jeremy Miller and his two sons, Caleb and Caven Simpson, Cinnamon Miller and Derek Miller; and Mary (Dave) Wykoff of Richwood and their children, Matthew and Rachel Wykoff.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m., with the Revs. Dale Rexroth and Joseph Rhea officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery.
