LARUE — Frank E. Bauer, age 81, of 1849 Marion Hardin Road, LaRue, died Thursday, July 21,2005, at 6 a.m. at his res-

He is survived by one daughter, Janet (Ben) Butcher of Columbus; four sons, Fred E. Bauer of LaRue, Roy (Rhonda) Bauer of Grafton, W.Va., Philip (Albertino) Bauer of Belle Center and Ed M. Bauer of Mount Victory; six grandchildren, Joseph, George, Croft, Jessie, Ariel and Alena; four brothers, Richard R. (Mary Jane) Bauer of Lithopolis, Dennis L. (Connie) Bauer of Wooster, John L. (Carol) Bauer of Huntington, Ind. and Buddy Wayne Bauer of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Roberta Isabel (John) Ransome of Marion, Rachel Barnes of Melbourne, Fla., and Dorothy (Paul) Field of Marion.
Mr. Bauer was a farmer, did trucking and was a livestock dealer, was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater, a life member of the William Britton Post 6817 VFW Mount Victory, member of the American Quarter Horse Association, American Haflinger Registry, Elgin FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer and the LaRue United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 25. 2005, at the LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Military rites will be conducted by the William Britton Post 6817 VFW. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 24,2005.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the LaRue United Methodist Church or the Hardin County Hospice.
