Dora Evelyn Walker

MARION — Dora Evelyn Walker, age 65, of 1501 Southland Parkway, Marion, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18,2005, at Heartland of Marion.
She was born Aug. 11, 1939, in Marion, to the late Orrie and Mary (Green) Davis.
On March 22,1958, she married Jr. Whitacre and he died Oct. 31, 1971. Then on June 30, 1972, she married Bobby Walker and he died Dec. 31,1981.
Mrs. Walker was a homemak-er and is survived by one son, Richard (Sherri) Whitacre of Marion; one daughter, Melissa (Jeffrey) Miller of New Bloom-ington; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. One grandson, Richard Whitacre Jr., three brothers, Iva Nelson Davis, Robert Davis and William Davis, and two sisters, Betty Jenkins and Irene Conners are deceased.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at the LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Tim Pasma. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue.
