Margaret L. Weller


Margaret L. Weller, 95, formerly of Richwood, died Wednesday, Jan. 12,
2005, at Friendship Village of Columbus where she had been living.
She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Richwood where
she served as choir director for 46 years and directed several community
cantatas. She was a member of the Carpe Diem Club, Fortnightly Club and
Richwood Civic Center. She was a private music teacher for many year,
teaching piano and voice from her home. She accompanied many of her
students at regional voice and piano lessons.
She was born Aug. 15, 1909, on the family farm on LeMasters Road north
of Richwood to the late Harley C. and Osa Ola Fox LeMasters and was
predeceased by three brothers, Roy, Charles and William LeMasters; and
her first husband, Robert W. Clevenger in June 1945.
She is survived by her husband, Jack B. Weller whom she married Aug. 2,
1947; a daughter, Gwenyth (Allen) Fabian of Westerville; a grandson,
Thomas A. Miller of Hilliard; a sister, Mabel Gill of Richwood; and a
sister-in-law, Eileen Weller Stephenson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck
Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Jerry Bentley will officiate and
burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8
p.m. Friday.
