Kathleen Elaine Blackburn


Kathleen Elaine Blackburn, 44, of Richwood died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at
Riverside Methodist Hospital after an eight-month battle with cancer.
She was a bus driver for the Elgin Local School District and a member of
Faith Bible Fellowship Church.
She was born May 4, 1960, in Marion to William and Phyllis Fox Beltz and
they survive in Prospect. She is also survived by her husband, Douglas
Blackburn whom she married Oct. 13, 1978; a daughter, Sarah (Chad)
Redman of Ashley; a son, Reuben Blackburn of Richwood; a grandson,
Justin Redman; an aunt, Jan Bailey of Port Clinton; her mother-in-law,
Viola Blackburn of Richwood; two brothers, Vernon (Stacy) Beltz of
Richwood and Phillip (Deb) Beltz of Prospect; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballinger
Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Brad Burrell will officiate and
burial will be at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8
p.m. today.
