Ashley Laurel Brown


Ashley Laurel Brown, 11, of Richwood died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, as
the result of an airplane crash in Mount Gilead.
She was a member of the Richwood First United Methodist Church where she
sang with the junior choir.
A fifth grader at North Union Elementary School, she was a cheerleader
who loved being a North Union Wildcat. She was a Girl Scout and enjoyed
living on a farm, reading and writing stories and, most of all, loved
her family.
She was born July 22, 1993, in Columbus and is survived by her parents,
Steve and Rebecca Brown of Richwood; two sisters, Aubrey (Bill)
Rasmussen of Delaware and Jennifer (Brad) Moore of Richwood; a brother,
Chris (Karissa) Harubin of Richwood; a niece, Adison Moore; and a
nephew, Brodie Moore.
Funeral services were held today at the Richwood First United Methodist
Church and burial was at the York Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashley Brown Memorial Fund in
care of the Richwood Banking Company.
Arrangements were handled by the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
