Oma Christine Cobb Rutan

Oma Christine Cobb Rutan, 83, of Delaware died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004,
at her home.
She was a homemaker, a member of Claibourne Advent Christian Church and
attended Delaware Bible Church.
She was born July 10, 1921, in Buffalo, W.Va., to the late Charles
Harvey and Florence Jones Cobb and was predeceased by two sons; a
sister; and seven brothers. She married Herman C. Rutan May 27, 1940, in
Red House, W.Va., and he died May 26, 1986.
She is survived by two sons, the Rev. Thomas Rutan of Chesterfield,
S.C., and Randy Rutan of Berkley Springs, W.Va.; a daughter, Marilyn
(James) Taynor of Delaware; 13 grandchildren; and 30
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ballinger
Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Dan Grose will officiate and burial
will be at the Maskill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Tuesday.
