Thomas Leuellen Taylor


Thomas Leuellen Taylor, 92 of Radnor, the eldest son of Arthur and Bertha Parish Taylor, went to be with his Lord Saturday, June 26, 2004.

He was born April 20, 1912 in Marion County.  He was retired from farming and sheep shearing.  He was a state sheep shearing champion.  One spring he sheared 4,000 sheep.  He was also an avid “Reds” fan.

He was a charter member of the Fulton Creek Friends Church.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his wife of nearly seventy-one years, Thelma Mae Schultz; one son Lowell (Aldena) Taylor, Radnor; Three daughters, Pat (Charlie) Snare of Marion, Sherry (Bill) Shelton of Keller, Texas and Linda (Phil) Seiter of Blanchard, Michigan, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister Ruth (Gene) Clady of Richwood.  He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters and one great-grandson, Jack Calvin.

Calling hours will be Monday, June 28 from 5 to 8 PM at the Fulton Creek Friends Church, 10950 Fulton Creek Road, Richwood, Ohio.  A Celebration of Life will take place Tuesday, June 29 at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Wayne Evans and Rev. Paul Williams officiating.  Interment will be in Claibourne Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.
