Zeta Loretta Hickok

Zeta Loretta Hickok, 92, of Marion, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at
Marion General Hospital.
A homemaker and mother, she was of the Methodist faith.
She was born Dec. 15, 1911, in Midland, Mich., the daughter of John and
Rosa Knight Sherwood. On Aug. 1, 1931, she was married in Midland,
Mich., to William L. Hickok, who preceded her in death in 2001. She was
also predeceased by her parents, a son, Jim; a brother; five sisters; a
daughter-in-law, Peggy; a granddaughter, Lisa; a great-grandchild; and a
great-great-grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest Hickok of Marion and William Hickok
of Ashland; a daughter, Mae (James) Schilling of Marion; a
daughter-in-law, Phyllis Hickok; 15 grandchildren; 29
great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. in the Ballinger Funeral
Home of Richwood with the Rev. John Wildman officiating. Burial was in
Claibourne Cemetery.
