Cloa Mae Cramer


Cloa Mae Cramer, 92, of Richwood died Sunday, Dec. 5,2004, at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She retired in 1974 from the Ohio Reformatory for Women as a corrections officer. She was a member of the Richwood Church of Christ, American Legion Auxiliary, the former Claibourne Grange and the Slim Whitman Appreciation Society. She had been active in the Union County Republican Party.
She was born March 5, 1912, in Marysville to the late William H. and Edna Cook Jenkins and was predeceased by her stepfather, Earl Robertson, who helped raise her; an infant daughter, Paula Cramer; and two sisters, Hazel Matteson and Dorothy Cameron. She married Arby Cramer June 19,1939, in Cattlensburg, Ky., and he died May 23,1960.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Todd) Gibson of Richwood; two sons, Paul E. (Kate) Cramer and Thomas E. (Dorothy) Patterson of Richwood; 10 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Betty Lemaster and Bert Mohler.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home. The Rev. Scot Gorsuch will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service.
