Glenn Frederick Berridge
MARION — Glenn Frederick Berridge, age 78, of 321 S. High St., Marion, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at 12:25 a.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born June 5,1926, in Columbus, to the late Charles Frederick and Ethel (Albert) Berridge.
On Nov. 9, 1948, he married Bessie M. Crowe and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Glenn Allen Berridge of Richwood and Art (Rubiana) Berridge of Marion; two daughters, Sharon A. (Dale) Moore and Kathy Riffee, both of Marion; nine grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Rose Mary Horseman of Scottsdale, Ariz. He was preceded in death by one sister, Freda Russell.
Mr. Berridge worked as a burner for the Marion Power Shovel, was a World War II Army veteran and was a former member of the American Legion Post 584 of Marion.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Tim Pasma. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the LaRue Baptist Church or the Ronald McDonald House at Children's Hospital in Columbus.
