Brittany Anne Crabtree


MAGNETIC SPRINGS — Brittany Anne Crabtree, age 11, of near Magnetic Springs, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at her home surrounded by her family. She had fought a courageous battle with cancer for more than two years.
She was born May 18, 1993, in Columbus, to Damon and Anne (Parrott) Crabtree of near Magnetic Springs.
Britt was a sixth grade student at the North Union Middle School. She attended the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church, was a member of the Kids-N-Kritters 4-H Club, taking rabbits and hogs to the Richwood Fair. She participated in the mini cat basketball program at North Union, loved playing softball at the Richwood Park and with the North Union Traveling Softball teams. Some of her best times were just "hangin with her boyz."
Also surviving are brother, Drew, at home; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Parrott of near Magnetic Springs; maternal grandparents, William and Sally Parrott of near Magnetic Springs; paternal great-grandparents, William and Genny Reninger of Lancaster, Pa., Lillian Crabtree of Minford; paternal grandparents, Damon and Louise Crabtree of Minford; many aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at 2 p.m. at the Richwood Church of Christ, 29063 Sivey Road, Richwood. Friends may call noon until 6 p.m. today at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Burial will be in the Claibourne Cemetery. Ministers will be the Revs. Stephen Hamby and Maurice Dunn.
Pallbearers will be Travis Laird, Dillon Wilson, Evan Jamison, Warren Shields, Jim Monroe, Nevin Smith, Donnie Parrott, Justin McBee and Walt Kaer.
