Caleb Alexander "Whitey" Delp, 19, of Richwood died Wednesday, Oct. 27,
2004, in Marysville. He was a 2004 graduate of North Union High School where he played football. He had enlisted in the Army and was waiting to go to boot camp. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Delaware and was an Eagle Scout. He was an avid reader and enjoyed paint balling. He was very passionate about his love for his family and friends. He was born Dec. 23, 1984, in New Haven, Conn., and was predeceased by his grandfathers, Edward Bodine and Chester L. Delp. He is survived by his mother, Nejla Marie Bodine Delp of Richwood; his father, Jeffrey Alan Delp of East Haven, Conn.; a sister, Rebekah Delp of Richwood; two brothers, Jarrod (Mandy) Delp of Norfolk, Va., and Clayton Delp of Richwood; his maternal grandmother, Mary Bodine of Bonita Springs, Fla.; his paternal grandmother, Constance C. Delp of Zanesfield; and aunts and uncles and their families, Michael, Brian, Mark, Christopher, Rebekah, Ted, Bret and David Bodine. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Baptist Church west of Delaware. Pastor Corey Bane will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses. | |||
