James M. Pfeiffer


RICHWOOD — James M. Pfeiffer, age 69, of 34100 Winnemac Road, Richwood, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004 at 4:28 p.m. at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus.
He was born April 30,1935, in Green Camp, Ohio, to the late Edward and Hazel (Chandler) Pfeiffer.
On Sept. 10, 1954, at St. Joseph Church in Winchester, Ind., he married Sharon V. Giles and she survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Kathy A. (Robert) Brown of Lorain. Ohio, Karen S. (Robert) Morales of Quaker Town, Pa., Sherry L. Thacker of Waverly, Ohio, and Susie M. (Randy) Thacker of Green Camp, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia (Richard) Baldinger of Marion and Rosemary Armstrong of Fort Myers, Fla. One son, James L. Pfeiffer and one granddaughter, Riannan R. Simpson, are deceased.
Mr. Pfeiffer was a self-employed farmer, member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaRue, Moose Lodge 889 of Marion and the Ohio Farmers Union. He owned and operated the Pfeiffer Party Room for 21 years.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion. The Rev. Father Rod Damico will officiate. Burial in Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday. Prayer services will be held Monday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the local chapter of the American Heart Association or the Heart of Ohio Dialysis Center.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Criswell, Kent Cusick, Craig Cu-sick, John Neidhart, Dave Neid-hart and Brad Benedict. Honorary pallbearer Brian Criswell.
