Iscah Mae Keeler


LARUE — Iscah Mae Keeler, age 91, of 8835 Irvin Shoots Road, LaRue, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 4:15 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, Ariz.
She was born Sept. 1,1912, in Kirby, to the late Elmore King and Delia Mae (Anderson) Keeler.
She is survived by one sister, Doris (Donald) Wood of Tucson, Ariz.; two nephews, Donald Wood Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., and Dennis Wood of Tucson, Ariz.; and one niece, Dejon (Eric) Giffin of Tucson, Ariz. One sister, Viola No-blet, is deceased.
She got her education in Wyandot County, moved to Marion County in 1939, to the present address. She always lived at home and was a devoted farmer, member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle, took part in many committees of the church. She was an active member of the Ty-mochtee Grange, member of the State Grange and a 7th Degree member of the National Grange. She was a Republican committee woman in Grand Township for many years and a member of the Ohio Farmers Union.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004, at 11:30 a.m. at the LaRue United Methodist Church. Minister will be the Rev. Edward Fugate. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
