LARUE — Marie Katherine Shuster, age 94, of 10728 Miles Road, LaRue, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at 4:50 a.m. at her residence.
She was born Dec. 12,1908, in Union County, to the late Ira and Icy (Hall) Kale.
On Dec. 12,1931, she married Milford Shuster and he died Dec. 24,1992.
She is survived by one son, Armond (Clara) Shuster of Upper Sandusky; one daughter, Nancy (Ronald) Rowe of Kenton; five grandchildren, Rhonda Rowe, Becky (Brian) Kibler, Rose Rowe, Kevin Shuster, and Karen (Darius) Murphy; and 13 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren, Debra Laubert and Robin Shuster, one greatgrandchild, Stephanie Laubert, three brothers, Elmer Foster and Ernest Kale, two sisters, Ethel Born and Lucille White are deceased.
Mrs. Shuster was a home-maker, member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church and the Moose Lodge Chapter 448 of Marion.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Joanne A. Powers. Burial is in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in LaRue.
Those who wish, make contributions to either the Hardin County Hospice or the Activity Fund of the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center.
