LARUE — Marguerite (Rizor) Price, age 92, of LaRue, died Monday morning, May 5, 2003, at the Marion General Hospital.
She was born Nov. 14, 1910, in Bowling Green Township to the late S.N. (Doc) and Gladys (Earth) Rizor.
She had cooked at the former Quaker Oats for eight years, also in restaurants around the LaRue area, was a member of the LaRue Senior Citizens, member of the former Bowling Green Grange and the Friends Euchre Club.
She married George Price in 1933, and he preceded her in death in February of 1949.
Surviving are one son, Kenneth (Marge) Price; two daughters, Marian (Ellis Jr.) Bosart and Emma Mae "Toots" (Charles) Tucker, all of LaRue; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two stepgreat-grand-daughters and two great-greatgrandchildren; one nephew, Neil Harshfield, and several cousins..
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue where friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Minister will be the Rev. Tim Pasma. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the LaRue Senior Citizens.
