Margaret E. Daniels


Margaret E. Daniels, 91, of the Community Apartments in Rich-wood died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Marion General Hospital.
A 1927 graduate of LaRue High School, she was a homemaker and in her younger years, worked as a nurse. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and an active member of the Richwood Civic Center. She was a very talented quilter who for many years donated a quilt to the Civic Center for the raffle at the Richwood Fair.
She was born Nov. 23,1910, in LaRue to the late Finley and Allie Wilhelm Deisher and was predeceased by a son, Carl E. Daniels; a brother, Williard Deisher; and two grandchildren. She married Calvin C. Daniels in 1928 and he died in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Dale C. (Atha) Daniels of Charleston, S.C., and Russell L. (Pat) Daniels of North Myrtle Beach, SC.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Caroline Daniels of Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.
