Betty L. Rizor

LARUE — Betty L. Rizor, age 74, of 135 River St., LaRue, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at 3:30 p.m. at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus.
She was born March 26,1928, in LaRue, to the late George Bernard and Catherine Wilda (Carter) Wright.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert J. "Bob" Rizor of 52 years.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Proudly of Portland, Ore., and Tracy Kalchik of LaRue; one grandson, Carter Kalchick, who was her pride and joy; one sister, Margie Gamble of Richwood; two aunts, Ethel Carter of LaRue and June (Carl) Gray of Mount Gilead; two uncles, Harry (Blanche) Carter of St. Marys and Robert (Delores) Carter of Marion and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, the Gleaners Circle, and had been a trustee of the church. Member of the Mary Lenox Chapter No. 98, Order of Eastern Star, the Happie Tyme Club and the former Homemak-ers Club. She worked in the medical field all her life and did medical transcription up until the time of her death.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 6,2002, at 2 p.m. at the LaRue United Methodist Church. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the trustees of the LaRue United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
