Clara Mae "Susie" Clevenger


Clara Mae "Susie" Clevenger, 69, of Magnetic Springs died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at her home after a nine-year battle with cancer.
She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a 1950 graduate of Leesburg-Magnetic High School, was president of the former S.O.S. in Magnetic Springs and was a member of the Delaware Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and was a very talented pie baker.
She was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Chesterland to the late Lawrence and Katherine Goetz Bidgood.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Leroy Clevenger whom she married April 8, 1955, in Dillon, S.C.; a son, Ron Klotts of Palm City, Ra., and Deb Pine of Prospect; four grandchildren, Tony Klotts and Joseph Pine of Prospect and Mary Klotts and Aaron Pine of Marion; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Pine; and a brother, Donald Bidgood of North Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Evangelist Keith Ball will officiate and burial will be at the Hopewell Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
