Phyllis Jean Price, 70, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at her Richwood home.
A homemaker, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who centered her whole life around her family. She was of the Methodist faith, loved birds and collecting cookbooks. She was born July 6, 1931, in Marion to the late Edwin Leroy and Alma.Mary Mulvain Hixon. On Jan. 23, 1948, she was married to Arthur G. Price .Preceding her in death is a step-brother, Richard E. Davis. Survivors include her husband; four children, Rebecca Lynn (Rob) Miller of Galion, Rose Mary (Bill) Bales of Cincinnati, Stephen G (Linda) Price of Larue and Mark E. (fiance Brenda Barton) Price, grandchildren, Gina (Chris) Selover, Nathan Miller, Kyle Miller, Rachel. Price, Sara Price, Nic Price and Brooks Price; four great-grandchildren, Grace, Joel and Faith Selover and Jayden Smith; a step-sister-in-law, Betty Lou Davis of Harrod; and two aunts, Emma Mulvain of Bucyrus and Mary Ellen Mulvain of Kissimmee, Fla. Fuffefal services will be' held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Larue Cemetery. The Rev. Fred Cheney will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Loving Care Hospice at 113 S.Main St., Marysville or the March of Dimes, 1500 W.ThirdAve. Columbus. | |||
