Veronna R.  Kirby Westbrook


Veronna R. Westbrook (Kirby), 69, of Richwood died Friday, Nov. 9,2001, at her home.
She was the former owner and bookkeeper at Kirby Auto Parts in Rich-wood and was a member of God's Country Church, the Marion Eagles Lodge, Delaware Moose Lodge and Women's Amvets #39 of Lakeview. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family and friends.
She was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Marion to the late Oliver and Moselle Penock Stephens. She married Jack Kirby in Marion Aug. 21, 1954, and he died Jan. 29, 1991. She then married Virgil Westbrook July 26, 2000, and he survives.
She is also survived by three daughters, Judy (Robin) Anderson of New Bern, N.C., Deborah (Mark) Naumann of Kirkwood, Mo., and Sheila (Howard) Bradford of Richwood; a son, Jack (Amy) Kirby of Richwood; 10 grandchildren, Josh (Bona) Anderson, Paul Anderson, Carmen (Rodney) Lewis, Eric Ridge, Kelly and Matthew Naumann, Laura and Dalton Bradford and Nathan and Tyler Kirby; stepchildren, Deborah (Robin) Harriott of Rich-wood, Mark (Robin) Westbrook of Chesapeake, Va., Brian (Tammy) West-brook of Marion, James (Kim) Westbrook of Marion and Melissa Westbrook of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Ron Benedict will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
