Ruth Wave Aikin

MARION—Ruth Wave Aikin, age 83, of 2360 Crissinger Road, died Monday, Oct., 1, 2001, at 7 a.m. at Marion General Hospital.
She was born Nov. 20,1917, in Green Camp, to the late Harry and Ora (Zieg) Beaver.
She was married on May 16, 1942,.in Alliance, by the Rev. Robert Diller to Robert S. Aikin and he died July 16,1992.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charlene (William) Moses of Harpster; two grandchildren, Maria and Shari Moses of Harpster; two sisters, June Graham of Green Camp and Ava Mabrey of Marion. One son, Michael Aikin and one sister, Jean Beaver, are deceased.
Mrs. Aikin worked as a bookkeeper what was then the Marion Rural Electric Cooperative, member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marion, the Les Amies Club of Marion, the Marion County Historical Society, the Marion Area and Ohio Genealogical Societies and National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct, 4,2001, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. David C. Lippert. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
