Mildred E. Jaynes


UPPER SANDUSKY — Mildred E. Jaynes, age 80, formerly of Marion, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at 12:45 p.m. at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
She was bom Nov. 21,1920, in Delaware County, to the late George W. and Mary (Wolfe) Cochran.
She was first married to Carol Reams, later she married Paul A. Jaynes and he died on Feb. 15,1991.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn (Lenzie) Blanton of Marion; two grandchildren, Angela (Jason) Burns of Morral and Michelle Sharp of Columbus; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Samantha Burns; two stepsons, Michael Jaynes of Marion and Ronald Jaynes of Delaware; two stepdaughters, Darlene Caudy of Delaware and Delores (Jerry) Reeves of Delaware; six brothers, Lloyd Cochran of Oklahoma, Wayne Cochran, Blaine Cochran and George W. Cochran, all of Caledonia, Everett Cochran of Marion, and Wesley Cochran of Arizona; eight sisters, Florence Harruff of Green Camp, Lillian M. Clutch, Catherine Daines and Darlene Blashin-sky, all of Arizona, Beulah Deeds of Texas, Linda Shin-gler of South Carolina, Mary J. Miller and Betty Barridge both of Marion. One brother, Lee Cochran and one sister, Eleanore Rowlinson are deceased.
Mrs. Jaynes was a home-maker, worked at Ranco in Delaware, was a former member of the Prospect Street United Methodist Church, was later a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Floyd Radebaugh. Burial in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
