William E. Cramer


William E. Cramer, 77, of Richwood died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a short illness.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Sojourners Lodge 653 F&AM in Marion, a former member of Prospect Lodge 444 and a member of Baccarat American Legion Post 40 and VFW Post 870 of Richwood.
He was born March 7, 1924, in Richwood to the late Zerah "Zeke" and Effie E. Daniels Cramer.
He is survived by his wife, June Andrews Cramer whom he married May 25, 1944, in Richwood; a daughter, Sue (Darwin) Clem of Richwood; three granddaughters; a step-grandson; a step-granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty (Max) Robinson of Marysville; and two brothers, Dan (Phyllis) Cramer of Boca Raton, Fla., and Bob Cramer of Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Debbie Nance will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery where veterans graveside services will be conducted by the Richwood VFW and American Legion posts. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where a Masonic service will be held a 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pharisburg United Methodist Church or the Richwood Emergency Squad and Fire Department Association.
