Florence J. Brobeck Duemmel

Florence J. Brobeck Duemmel, 97, of Richwood died Friday, July 13,
2001, at her home.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect and had worked for Dr. Drake in Richwood for 10 years.
She was born April 18, 1904, in Richwood to the late Carl and Anna Schlegel Allgower at the Hotel Villa which was built by her parents in 1903. She was predeceased by three brothers, Edgar, Walter and Rolland Allgower. She married John Ivan Brobeck May 12, 1928, and he died in September 1962. She married William Duemmel Dec. 26, 1971, and he died in May 1983.
She is survived by four daughters, Beverly Jean (Robert) Allen of Prospect, Martha Ann (Jack) park of Altadena, Calif., Barbara Kay (Robert) Woodrow of Camden, N.C., and Josephine (James) Mayers of Richwood; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Fred C. (Doris) Allgower of Sun City West, Ariz.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect. The Rev. Stephen Bull will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
