Elmer L. "Tim" Creamer


LARUE — Elmer L. "Tim" Creamer, age 82, formerly of LaRue, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at 3:35 a.m. at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
He was born Dec. 24,1918, in Hardin County, to the late Jesse and Rosetta (Stanton) Creamer.
On June 16, 1940, he married Wilma McCullough and she died Oct. 11,1984.
He is survived by two sons, Eldon E. Creamer and Richard L. (Mary Anne) Creamer both of Marion; one daughter, Mrs. Jodene (Dave) Dilsaver of LaRue; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Theodore, Harry, Karl, Taylor, Albert Creamer and three sisters, Martha McElroy, Myrtle Thompson and Alice Campbell, are deceased.
Mr. Creamer was a parts man at Kenton Implement, a John Deere dealer. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army Air Corp. He was a m ember of Mount Victory Sportsman's Club, a volunteer fireman at Mount Victory, officiated basketball and was a member of the Ohio Sheep Breeders Association and helped with 4-H sheep projects for many years.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Dave Gossard. Burial in the Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Graveside military rites will be conducted by the honor guard of AMVETS Post 1994, Kenton.
