Clarence W. Fout


Clarence W. Fout, 86, of Mount Victory died Sunday at his home.
He was a 1932 graduate of Byhalia-York High School and had worked at Marion Power Shovel and Quaker Oats in Marion. He retired from the Plaza gas station in Mount Victory. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of William Britton VFW Post 6817 in Mount Victory and the Mount Pleasant Church of God.
He was born Oct. 18, 1914, in Marion County to the late James Andrew and Glenna Sullivan Fout and was predeceased by two sisters, Mabel Dominy and Bertha Mouser.
He is survived by a son, Andrew Norman Fout of Marysville; two grand-children, James Andrew and Andrea Kaye Fout; a sister, Opal Greenawalt of LaRue; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funer-al Home in Richwood. The Rev. C.L. Fuqua will officiate and burial will be at the Byhalia Cemetery where veterans services will be conducted. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
