Erdene Longberry

Erdene Longberry, 88, of the Byhalia area died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at her home.
She worked as a secretary at the Scott's Company and then for the Marysville schools, from where she retired. She was a member of the former Grace Chapel and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She was born Dec. 22, 1912, in Union County to the late Othel and Sylvia Hartman Longberry and was predeceased by a brother, Starling Longberry and a sister, Thelma Longberry.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Opal Longberry of Richwood; a niece, Linda (Olen) McAllister of Columbus; and a great-niece, Dixie (Russell) Bryant of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Don Moceri will officiate and burial will be at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
