Helen Smart

Helen Smart, 82, of Richwood died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
She was a care giver to many families in the Richwood area over the years. She was a member of Richwood Community United Calvary Church, where she played the piano, and was a member of the Richwood Civic Center.
She was born Aug. 29, 1918, in Marion to the late Lawrence and Jennie Dougherty Smart and was predeceased by a brother, Harry Smart; a half-sister, Grace Fryman; and many dear friends in the Richwood area.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and burial will be at the Clai-bourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community United Calvary Church.
