Robert Russel Pacha, 69, of Richwood died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 25, 2000 at Memorial Hospital of Union County.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed fishing and being with his family, especially his grandchildren.     , i n
He was born May 27, 1931, in Richwood to Frank W. and Hazel Wilson Pacha and was predeceased by his father and a brother, Paul Pacha.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Graham of Richwood; his wife, Marion L. Millette Pacha whom he married Dec. 4,1954, at St. Joseph's Church in Burlington, Vt.; a son, Robert Frank (Lynn) Pacha of Richwood; two daughters, Doris Irene (John) Willis of Richwood and Kathy Marie (Alan) Fitzpatrick of Magnetic Springs; eight grandchildren, Shelby McClincy, Jeremy Wurtsbaugh, Michael Goins, Robert Willis, Jessica Check, Michael Fitzpatrick, Alishia Rodman and Rhiannon Rodman; two step-grandchildren, John Willis and Miranda Swartz; five great-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lour-des Church in Marysville. The Rev. Barry Bentz will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery where veteran services will be conducted by the Richwood American Legion and VFW posts. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood where a Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be madeto the church for masses to be said for the deceased.
