Ann M. Shepard


Ann M. Shepard, 62, of Radnor died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at The Arbors of Delaware.
She was a homemaker and worked as a cook in food service in the area. She had attended Fulton Creek Friends Church. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was born May 16,1938, in Buskirk, Ky., to the late John C. and Bessie Mae Miller Blankenship and was predeceased by a sister, Alice Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Shepard whom she married July 3, 1967, in Clintwood, Va.; two daughters, Tammy Anita (Terry) Henderson of West Mansfield and Mary Marie (James) Shepard-Mooney of Waldo; three sons, James Dean Bailey and Richard Joseph Shepard Jr. of Richwood and Michael Kevin (Cindy) Shepard of Marengo; eight grandchildren, Sarah Henderson-Stetzinger, Tammy Bailey, Katie Henderson, Michael Shepard, Brittany Shepard, Emily Shepard, Skyler Shepard and Jett Mooney; a brother, John W. Blankenship Jr. of Buskirk; and two sisters, Faye (James) Akers of Oak Hill and Stella Blankenship of Buskirk.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate and burial will be in the Shoup (Thompson Twp.) Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
