David D. Seiter


David D. Seiter, 85, formerly of Prospect, died Sunday, Oct. 8,2000, after an extended illness at The Arbors in Delaware where he had been living for the past five years.
He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a 1933 graduate of Prospect High School and received the FFA State Farmer Degree while at school.
He was born May 4,1915, in Pleasant Township to the late Samuel D. and Susan Elizabeth Oehler Seiter and was predeceased by a brother, Carl Seiter.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Almendinger Seiter whom he married Sept. 26 1936; two sons, Wayne (Roberta) Seiter of Prospect and Richard (Pat) Seiter of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; a daughter, Kathleen Seiter of Prospect; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the Prospect Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
